005 - KDP Virtual Voice Beta Test Run!

II was contacted by Amazon and KDP to try out the new virtual voice beta test. In case you have not heard, they are piloting using generative AI to produce realistic sounding voice narrations of books. I gave it a shot and will talk about it in a future podcast.

Suffice it to say that it is actually pretty amazing. They even include an editor to modify the speed of narration or other details. The generation of the audio is quite fast as well. Full report in a future podcast!
